On my way home tonight, I went to turn onto the road we live on. It's a 90 degree left. My car only went 45 degrees left.

There's a 4 foot embankment on that side of the road. My car drove right into it. Fortunately at such a slow speed that it only cracked my plastic bumper and knocked out a signal light. I hit the rocks that hold the dirt in place. *sigh*

LyndaLehmann I'm on a bunch of artist websites and I blog. I can advocate wholeheartedly for nuclear disarmament or clean air, but I clam up when it comes to self-promotion. It just doesn't feel right. I've had to post about my scarves recently, and forced myself to do so because it's Marlena's site that my scarf designs are on. I owe it to her to try to send some traffic over there.

My favorite project was a special order from a group of people whose friend had purchased her dream home.

They provided me with stolen pictures of her dogs, and for the welcome sign gave me details for her favorite flowers and birds. To give an idea of just how big those rocks are, the slate Welcome sign is 15 inches wide.

I tell people that I talk to rocks. They tend to look at me oddly and then tell me it's OK, as long as they don't talk back.

I leave out the statement that they do speak to me, they tell me who they believe they are, and I help them be that. All it takes is imagination, some paint and a paint brush.

Butterose @LyndaLehmann The preparation process is labor intensive and time consuming because you have to make sure they're completely clean and dry. I was surprised to find that rock will retain water and that it takes awhile to fully dry one out. They do have tooth as long as they're clean and dry.

I am thankful for the fact that the Fall Cleaning is all done and Thanksgiving is over so I can concentrate on Christmas.

The Christmas gifts are going to fall into the inventive rather than costly category. Thanks to a BIG furnace repair bill and a sizeable vet bill for our kitty, my pockets are getting empty.

@TheTAZZoneNetwork was looking for this song in Blip FM. I found it for him in Youtube and posted it in Twitter.

Then I remembered that he never reads his Twitter feed because he's disgruntled with Twitter so, I'm going to post it here in case he actually comes here and reads stuff. LOL

I keep telling him he's missing too much, maybe this will teach him a lesson? Ummmm, that's a BIG I doubt it.

legbamel I tell my kids they're lucky because every year gives them one more year's worth of songs to explore as they grow older. All of these things were so much less accessible when I was growing up that I'm jealous how much great music they'll be able to see and hear. I find a great video that I'd have loved to see twenty years ago just about every week!

Butterose Nope, he picked a fight with them over their disclaimer that he was not invited to provide political analysis. He called them liars on his site and posted emails which prove nothing he said was true. So, he left ABC no choice. I can't stress enough that when you lie down with dogs, you do get up with fleas. Count on it. :D

Butterose @Greenlady7 & libdrone Breitbart posted on his own site that he would be providing "live election coverage from Arizona on Tuesday". Someone tweeted it and that caused a bunch of us to protest. I believe the clamor would have been louder if it hadn't occured during Countdown and Maddow. lol. A satire account of the president, @P0TUS leapt onboard and that's how I found out. I checked around before I jumped on it and found a tweet from Jake Tapper directing the protest to the proper account of ABC decision makers and found out there was some truth to it. It wasn't until Saturday when ABC clarified that Brietbart is doing an Arizona online Town Meeting that we found out Breitbart won't be on TV. His sleazy tactics insinuated something else entirely and ABC still doesn't get it. Even members of the ABC newroom are protesting.

I normaly do not get the kind of attention and retweeting that I got on Friday night. Even in the midst of the clamor a couple of trolls attacked. Thanks to people I met here like VoodooKobra and his informative statements about trolling, I was able to stay on topic and ignore them. I'm not a Progressive although I am a Democrat and usually stay away from these dust ups but this is so wrong I had to speak my piece.
