  2. Sebastyne I am chuffed - theBzine is getting a new column, for sewing Barbie clothes! \o/ It's just getting better!

    Sebastyne

Sebastyne One of the British English beauties. :) I just love Brittish and Australian English - they both have a certain sense of humour to it as well as a ring of age. :)

    GreenLady7

GreenLady7 I like the British phrase: "Keep your pecker up!", the "pecker" in this case being your chin! See, @ishoulddosomework and @theresa111, I can be quite immature, too.

  3. TIFFLS I've come to the conclusion that everyone should have a life-sized Jenga set in the backyard.

    last try, I swear

    Sebastyne

Sebastyne Cool one. I sang along to the Pearl Jam -part. :D Of all the bands I listened to as a teen ager, Pearl Jam songs fitted best with my voice. (Yes, I used to record my singing... :p)
And the Jenga was fun too. :D

    LAveryBrown

LAveryBrown This is such a nifty idea. Maybe the next big thing will be a life sized 'Operation' game!

  5. Theresa111 Just when you are tired of the same old deserts, http://www.halfhourmeals.com/food-for-thought/cranberry-tea-bread/ try a quick bread and

eat it hot from the oven.

    Deray28

Deray28 Another great desert and my guest post on Amy Byrd's blog: http://waylandcook.blogspot.com/2010/05/guest-post...

    Theresa111

Theresa111 Meows ... quick breads are so fast and easy. Put them together and pop them into the oven. Plus ... You can freeze them and slice off a few pieces, wrap in new plastic wrap and place remaining loaf into the freezer, for another day.

Imagine if you will, having a freshly toasted fruit sweet bread instead of dry toast. Check out the link and see all of the blogger recipes because there is something for everyone at Half Hour Meals, BlogCatalog's food blogger's site.

  7. Theresa111 Decided I needed a southern France fix so I put in the DVD A Good Year, one of my favorite charmingly beautiful movies. I've seen it so many

times that I only need listen to see it playing in my head.

    CookingwithAnne

CookingwithAnne I love the family dinner scene :)

tonyberkman did you ride you bike to work?

    4/22/10

    RecycleCindy

RecycleCindy No I didn't. I live 22 miles from my day job. But I recycled a bunch of bread bags today into a reusable tote so hopefully I helped out my carbon footprint...

  11. Sebastyne I announced to my web community members that the site was going paid. It went better than I expected. *phew* (So far.)

    Butterose

Butterose I think most people understand that it takes money to operate, even on the web. I'm glad it's going favorably for you.

    Sebastyne

Sebastyne Well, I spoke too soon. Now they're protesting with arguments to the level of "I can't go outside because I can't make shoes".

  12. BiggJ I think it would be sweet to be able to attach a link here, like on FB, that will pull in titles, excerpts and a pic. That'd be sweet.

  13. AngieAlaniz And if tonight my soul may find her peace in sleep, and sink in good oblivion, and in the morning wake like a new-opened flower then ....

I have been dipped again in G_d, and new-created.

    Good night and sleep tight!

  14. tonyberkman I spent all day doing something that is either going to be really great or really challenging when it gets done. risks.....

A fried eggs layout I was working on a few weeks ago. You can probably notice some of the design cues that were updated from this mock-up like the new background colors and some of the sidebar elements.

numby ...can you make the comment box default to the full width of the white portion of the page? Using Firefox, I can't stretch it, and it would make what people typed appear more efficiently...Am I to guess it currently defaults to handheld width?...maybe detection...(?)

What can I say? It's a chicken rap ... it goes with eggs, right?

    Theresa111

Theresa111 I read the account and that is so sad. In fact the whole place seems effing messed up. Time to find another farm. Or pick yours up and transport it.

    4/21/10

    timethief

timethief I'm fortunate as I can purchase locally grown poultry, beef, etc. as well as veggies and fruit and all is organic. None comes from factory farms.
