Red Rock Canyon is located in Summerlin, Nevada about 15 minutes from the strip. It is a great place to get away from the glitz and bright lights for a few hours.

legbamel I remember driving roads like this to get anywhere, once. I would so love to go back.

Hydrangeas grow wild there and line many roads, a riot of blue and purple that lasts all year long. As a kid that stunned me, coming from flatland suburbia.

legbamel It's on Terciera in the Azores. Roads like this are only one of my favorite memories of living there. They were all over the hills.

Stillthinking I have seen that video and here is my reaction. That man was born here in the US, I was not. I am a US citizen, but because I was born in Korea, I do not have a US birth certificate. Therefore, if someone stopped me on the street and demanded to see my birth certificate or citizenship papers, I would not be able to comply. I have numerous forms of ID and a passport, but no birth certificate. I don't want to live in a country where I would be required to carry my passport around at all times because of the color of my skin and shape of my eyes, but my blue eyed, blonde haired friends are not.
