This is the weirdest thing I've ever done with my websites. I'm sitting here, at night WAITING for my website to START to lag.

And of course, when you are waiting for a problem to appear, there's no chance it will. It's like taking your limping dog to the vet. No way he's going to show a limp to someone who can actually do something about it!

infurl Apparently Apple has just released a new version of Safari that they claim is even faster than the current versions of Chrome and Firefox.

Since I've been doing a lot of graphically intensive programming with javascript and scalable vector graphics lately, I'm looking forward to seeing web browsers supporting hardware acceleration. I've only been testing my code with Firefox and Chrome so far, but interestingly, each new release of these two browsers has leapfrogged the other in terms of graphics performance. Both can achieve 30 frames per second animation at very high resolutions on my Phenom2 work station, and that's without using the GPU in my video card.

Tommylandz Google Chrome is lightning fast! Its all I use. Sometimes you have to install plug-ins but its a great browser!

numby I was thinking sort of as a surprise for a guy friend. I think it would be good if they just started sending him stuff about barbies out of the blue because he loves his dolls and believes in fate, so he would think it was natural

Talk about being easily distracted. I was eating my lunch at the computer and typing interview questions for theBzine, when I suddenly

remembered that I needed to print something out in the outside office which was unoccupied at the moment. I got up immediately, still chewing, took a few steps toward the door and stopped myself. "At least finish your effin' lunch" I told myself... And got on Eggs to tell you about it. NOW…

LAveryBrown Hmmm, If that's the case I suppose my dear little blog will only be tweeter about once every so often b/c I try to keep it generally humorous (but never sophomoric) & light. Of course those times when I draw on the 'deeper' side of things I do get amazingly thought provoking comments. Maybe I ought to do a few more of 'those' types of things - but then again maybe I ought to encourage a few laughs - after all the world could use a few more of those.

Yesterday I got on the iDance mat for the first time for "real". I got a bit too much into it really. I did the impossible - Injured myself.

You wouldn't think it was possible to fall off a mat that's inch thick, but if anyone can do it, I can! I wasn't wearing shoes though so I slipped off it and twisted my ankle - I knew I was accident prone, but that's ridiculous. XD I can't wait for it to heal though, so I can go again - this…

Sebastyne Just a jump that landed me right on the edge of the mat, slipping over, catching the carpet and me following over it. It's almost okay now, I took a walk with the dog and limped only a little. :D
