Over at zenhabits they have a really interesting article about the habits of creative types. The author randomly chose a handful of creative professionals to ask them about their habits and a single response showed up more than any other.
What do you think the most common "habbit" was? take a guess and then click through to read the article. It's interesting because as I look back it's how many of my most inspired ideas have come about.

scribadiva I didn't want to read it when you posted this, b/c I was working on a piece about my creative process.I think I've gone too far; I'm working on an acronym for it, just funny, not necessary. I can't wait to move! The participation is a given, just by nature. The solitude is a given, and I don't mind it if it's something I'm working on. But try dating a painter. In the a.m., you are always saying goodbye at his studio! You put up a great hit!
