Stillthinking Oh, this brought tears to my eyes! People have known for years that pets mourn the loss of their companions (other pets and humans) but to see strays bond so strongly is so moving. *hugs her kitty*

timethief This is so sad. I have seen other animals (dogs and horses) attempt to revive dead friends. When anyone says to me they are "just animals and don't have feelings like we do " I have been known to shriek at them "we are all animals you fool and we all have feelings!"

Stillthinking Of course animals have feelings! They live with us and express pain, fear, sadness, joy and pleasure. That is why we empathize with them.
