how many people have facebook pages for their blogs? I started one up and was wondering if it was worth it at all.

Theresa111 I never knew FaceBook offered blogs.

PetLvr Some people use their "like"'ing of Facebook pages like other do with their RSS feeds and Twitter feeds. They browse the headlines and posts and comments and choose to either jump/read a post or comment directly in Facebook about it.

I've got pages for all my blogs, but there isn't a proper mechanism like twitter - when someone tweets @PetLvr I get the message instantly or in an hour or so if not online in my gmail. With facebook pages, I don't get that announcement and have not responded to facebook comments on a timely basis and is risking to lose the community that is/can be built up over there.

LAveryBrown I've got an FB page for one of my blogsites & have gotten a few fans of it. However, it was quite a pain in the rear to get it set up b/c I had to set up a new account/email/etc to do it and I still have issues w/linking it to my main FB page. FB needs to make it easier. However, I will say that I tried out FB ads for 5 days (I went super cheap-o at a total of $30) BUT I will say that I did get quite a good deal of hits to my site (and that's where I got my few FB fanpage followers, too) So it's got its ups & downs but it really takes a lot of dedication to keep it up.

LAveryBrown Oh, & Theresa111 just to be clear it's not blogs FB has it's fan pages for your blogs. And they've also got a 'linking' group called 'Networked Blogs' that actually works outside of FB, too.
