Nanomedicine - the future of medical treatment.

Nanomedicine - the future of medical treatment.

The possibility of using nanorobots in medicine, advocates say, would totally change the world of medicine once it is realized. Nanomedicine would make use of these nanorobots introduced into the body, to repair or detect damages and infections. A typical blood borne medical nanorobot would be between 0.5-3 micrometres in size. Carbon could be the primary element used to build these nanorobots.

Nanodevices could be observed at work inside the body using MRI. Medical nanodevices would first be injected into a human body, and would then go to work in a specific organ or tissue mass. The doctor will monitor the progress, and make certain that the nanodevices have gotten to the correct target treatment region. The doctor will also be able to scan a section of the body, and actually see the nanodevices congregated neatly around their target (a tumor mass, etc.) so that he or she can be sure that the procedure was successful.

IshaShiri wow! Yes, indeed we have an World ever better.

We are participating and living in a time of passage, from primitive to modern advances, in all areas of science very fast. Are important findings, and no doubt, will make the world in the paradise promised by our forefathers.

scribadiva Mark I'm not feeling well. Did I get to your site, or is it listed on BC? I've reposted so much of your stuff here, I want to make sure I don't miss it. My feed is all screwed up, so I can't check that way. No rush; leave me a link, or later or tom. I'll go to BC to find it. Thanks for all, Sweet tides, Linda

LyndaLehmann Nano-medicine will be great if it doesn't become another runaway technology. It has the potential for great good but in the wrong hands, great evil.
