1. was thinking that it was a long time since I was here

with the result that it prompted me to take a look and the first thing I see is @Theresa111 - so that's a nice sight.

I drank a cup of tea and watched the flowing and stillness.
Quietly and naturally I seemed to forget the return of time.

The Korean monk Cho-ui wrote this in 1837 in one of his set of poems called The Hymns To Korean Tea.

bluebeachsong An amazing personal project and an incredible documentation of a life. It's also fascinating to see three decades of style, fashion, and pop culture. The photographer's name is Jamie Livingston, who was also a cinematographer. Hugh Crawford was a friend of his who took the photos and posted them on his website.

  17. From the film about the destruction of the world's fish:

The mouth of the trawl net on a sea-going trawler is wide enough for thirteen jumbo jets to sit wing tip to wing tip.

As the trawl net is dragged along the sea bed, it pulverizes everything in its path.

    It's a wonderful world!
