Theresa111 Wow Cindy you are so very clever. This bag makes me want to grab suntan oil, beach towel and head for the beach.

They said on a news report that there is a huge island of plastic floating in the Pacific. they should bring it on shore and recycle it into wind turbines or clever things like you make. Recycling is very important. You wow me! :-)

Theresa111 Cindy you are so smart and I like that in a person. Hummingbirds are such a faery like bird. Sort of like the beautiful bumblebee but very very quick. their colors are varied and this birdseed made me smile for the first time today. Thanks for cheering me up. I usually am but this morning was different. Cheers! :-)

Is anyone else getting this warning? I've sent a message to the webmaster but no response yet.

RecycleCindy I'm still getting the warning this morning. I am using a current version of Malware so maybe its more sensitive?

  15. I have been trying to start my garden from seeds and it's not working very well. I think I need...

a light over the pots. It doesn't help that it's been raining for 4 straight days. My pots aren't getting enough sunlight. Any tips?

    WAYLANDCOOK

WAYLANDCOOK I put mine in paper coffe cups saved from hubbys work. Took two white metal bathroom racks (the three shelf type) and turned them upside down. The lip on the shelves holds the pots better. Put them out side and covered it with plastic (the clear kind in a roll) I uncover them on warm non rainy days and cover them and weight the cover down with a brick on rain cool days. I am doing much better than starting them in the house like in years past. the beautiful thing about it is it is all recycled parts.

    RecycleCindy

RecycleCindy Great information. That was very helpful as I have heard that the heat is really the key factor in promoting the growth of seedlings.

    tonyberkman

tonyberkman did you ride you bike to work?

    4/22/10

    RecycleCindy

RecycleCindy No I didn't. I live 22 miles from my day job. But I recycled a bunch of bread bags today into a reusable tote so hopefully I helped out my carbon footprint...

    4/22/10

  17. Are you doing an Earth Day post? I just put up mine with a countdown clock for Earth Day. http://www.myrecycledbags.com/2010/04/20/earth-day

    timethief

timethief I have published an Earth Day post as well. My theme is making a commitment to improve your food choices and to buy food produced in ways that protect the environment and your health.
