And, as some reprobates have discovered, leaving your office light on may fool your boss into thinking you're still at work. I give it less than a day before someone figures out how to leave the robot's eyes lit up so it looks like you're still there operating it. There was a science fiction movie on this subject recently called "Surrogates" and starring Bruce Willis (or so I believe as I haven't seen it yet though it's on my list). The renowned science fiction author David Brin also wrote about this in a very exciting and intricate novel called "Kiln People" a few years ago. That was even better because the robots in "Kiln People" were largely autonomous and imprinted with the greater part of your personality. At the end of the day you could "upload" your robots' experiences back into your brain. Rich people could have more than one of these robots at once and different models of robots were optimized for intellectual pursuits, physical labor, and various activities in between.
