The renowned science fiction author David Brin also wrote about this in a very exciting and intricate novel called "Kiln People" a few years ago. That was even better because the robots in "Kiln People" were largely autonomous and imprinted with the greater part of your personality. At the end of the day you could "upload" your robots' experiences back into your brain. Rich people could have more than one of these robots at once and different models of robots were optimized for intellectual pursuits, physical labor, and various activities in between.
