legbamel So, you not only get a great history lesson from Suzanne Sommers but you get a song my mother actually took away from us when I was eight.
Honestly, the song makes my head ache, it's so shrill, but we played the record to death 'way back when. It was this one and On the Radio. Maybe we only loved them so much BECAUSE they drove my mother nuts.

This one doesn't have running water in the rooms, but it does have history. The Oatman Hotel. This pic is mine, too. :) http://bit.ly/9KKsxC

It's a members only site, so you can't comment. You can take me to task over here though. ;D
2 people like this.Butterose @tt Thanks, I think it's a situation that's going to get worse until after the elections. Are they over yet?
@TAZZ Why do you love it when I rant? :D
@Theresa111 The only reason I wound up with Butterose is that Twitter wouldn't accept any form of Sherry since there were all ready so many of them all ready. We do have so much that I get riled somewhat when faced with the ignorance of people who seem not to get it. Too many don't understand that they're part of the problem and fear is stopping them from becoming part of the solution.
@libdrone I agree with you.
@scribadiva I can be added to blog rolls and I can add other blogs to Sites I like on my page, but you can't leave comments unless you sign up for an account. Member only site, cuts way down on spam, lolTheTAZZoneNetwork @Butterose because you do it very well :D Most people don't do it well...they're boring and uninteresting,,,when you do it, it's ' you go girl! AND ..Never rely on man.scribadiva You hit the nail on the head. He went today, and that's exactly what happened. If I told you Chazz's story....It's easier for you to read or watch the movie The Verdict. Barry Reed, with whom I worked at the same Law School, merged 3 stories together. He gave a lecture, and after-wards, I spoke to him re: Computer stuff, and he was all excited, "Oh, I'm so glad you are here..I was planning on stopping at your office." I replied graciously, and said, my husband has a question for you. He turned pale white, and he couldn't hide the shakes anymore. He's dead now, but not before making millions of dollars off Chazz's tragedy...and making his character look like the hero by finding the smoking gun. Chazz's grandfather did all the work; Barry Reed was just a shill, a serious alcoholic, picked only because he was Irish. You see, his mother's father was a lawyer, but Jewish and in 1964, as now, there's plenty of anti-semitism. But thank you for the comment; after today's meeting...he feels like someone he doesn't know understands. More than that, I can't write: He's not ready to allow me to. But someone has to write the truth.

legbamel I've discovered that there's no way to say that someone's video looks like the opening for really raunchy gay porn without sounding phobic.
All I wanted to point out was that a bunch of very pretty young men in a variety of leather outfits, some with collars covering their lower faces, and full eye make-up doing cheer routines out of sync with cheesy music doesn't make me understand why you would swoon over them as a young girl.…

Butterose The new Twitter is now available to me, still as an option. I can switch back and forth between versions.
I think I might like it if I could figure out a way to corral the cursor so it doesn't sit in the wrong spot on the tweet. I'm like tryin ta read a tweet and blam there's the pop out. You can't initially see all those little doodads which tell you what's gonna happen. The cursor has to rest…
read more2 people like this.Reposted by 1 person.libdrone I got an invite this morning and played with it a little. It is ok, fine for those who use Twitter on the web I suppose. It doesn't change anything for me in Twitter Fox.
legbamel The only thing I really see different so far is that it's wider than it was with lots of extraneous information in the two right sidebars. Okay, to be fair it does now have a button that brings up your "conversation" with someone who's replied to you. That's actually a major improvement, but the only one that I saw.

LyndaLehmann The opportunism on Twitter is out of hand, don't you think?
Shameless self-promotion is so well exemplified by people who follow you and send a personal message for you to look at some service or product. You go to their site to check out what they are so eager to show you and leave a comment/acknowledgment.
Within an hour they message you again…

I really do hate energy stealers, those who would take from you ALL the time until they suck you dry. Then they run off in other directions and leave you gasping in the sand... with no guilt or self-awareness whatsoever.

legbamel I remember driving roads like this to get anywhere, once. I would so love to go back.
Hydrangeas grow wild there and line many roads, a riot of blue and purple that lasts all year long. As a kid that stunned me, coming from flatland suburbia.

legbamel It's on Terciera in the Azores. Roads like this are only one of my favorite memories of living there. They were all over the hills.
