How can a "real" valuation be a flop? Is it that people are experiencing withdrawals from the pre-recession days when stocks just went up?
An investment banker wants to maximize stock price though it is not a flop simply because the stock doesn't go up.
Those who say the FB IPO was a flop are speaking from personal, emotional perspectives and not from the perspective that FB still doesn't have a clear business model, they have plenty of users, and that we are in a bear market. To blame this on FB's IB's or FB's management is naive.
