  2. XxJamberxX I am tired of my family thinking I don't know any thing.

    So it starts like this...
My older sister is having so bodily function problem(nothing serious) and she needs to drink more water. When my parents come to ask her how much water did you drink today. She made some excuse (saying I drank out of the foucet) but my parents wanted to know in exact…

XxJamberxX That still doesn't make their poor decisions right... "Grandparents Revenge" that's sounds funny :)

Butterose See? That's the Grandparents Revenge. Your poor decisions won't be any more right than you think your parents are now. And some day your own child will be having a very similar conversation with someone as we are having now. Parenting is a matter of making decisions even when they're wrong, and hoping that everything will turn out fine. You will survive it, and find your own path.

I suppose this is the closest I'll get to seeing the inside of the Sistine Chapel without having to throw on a frock and swearing a few vows. And the chances of getting time off to do the tourist thing in Italy is only a pipe dream at the…

proofpositivity I'm not an atheist and I'm not in to religion either. As someone who worked in an art museum, I know the value of religious art. There is a history in the types of paint or materials they used. Some paintings are done with gold. It's hard to believe but it is so pretty.

  5. BiggJ That's some BullSchmidt! http://www.blogcatalog.com/community/google-ceo-eric-schmidts-view-of-blog-world-all-wrong/

Google CEO Eric Schmidt dissed bloggers in a recent speech and stated that if we want to see the value of news editors, we simply need to look at the blog world. He was talking about how editors ensure a level of quality content not found in the blog world, but I argue that there is more value…

tonyberkman Smart statement considering most of his content on his search engine and most of google's revenues are coming from adsense placed on blogs. Yes, there is a major difference between quality bloggers - who I think are some of the best writers on this planet - and spam blogs. A blanket statement, targeting a group is extreme, given that the same could be said of many books that have been edited. I think Schmidt's statement stinks of godlike arrogance. If not for bloggers there would be no social media. Perhaps he owns stock in a newspaper company or magazine publishing house.
