1. Perverted Chapter 1 of a funny novel: http://worst-blog-there-is.blogspot.com/2012/01/arguing-with-god-absurdest-fiction.html

It's absurdest...Irreverant: Something like Douglas Adams.

  2. Perverted Christians to kids: Santa is not real: http://dailyperversion.blogspot.com/2011/12/christians-to-kids-santa-is-not-real.html

Has Christmas been taken over by corporate America? Or is it the other way around. Who profits? Church or Wal-Mart?

  3. legbamel A guy in town wanted license plates that read "ISNOGOD" and the DMV said no. He's appealing for the plates or a ban on GOD on plates.

He also hosts a show on the best non-public radio station in town so I already loved him. Apparently the folks at the plates department told him his proposed plate would be too offensive. I can't wait to see how this one goes.

efuller @Agit8r wow, thanks for the heads up. That sounds ridiculously dodgy. I'm a firm believer in free speech (that includes things I disagree with) but I do find it disconcerting when one person's expression (in this case an "I Believe" vanity plate) is supporting some dubious religiously based money laundering outfit without the speaker's full knowledge. It's this gate keeper role to expression that is rather gross.

efuller To clarify, if the person buying the license plate knows that is what the money is going to and fully condones it than good on them. But what of people that want to express their faith but wind up supporting something they do not believe in in the process of expression?

(The money "I believe" plates go to a Christian charity with no explicitly stated objective for what will happen with the money.)
