TheSavvyPassenger I understand...many of my co-workers could use a lesson in tact when broaching the subject. Now that you have seen how there can be interference during takeoff and landing, are you less likely to feel that it's nonsense?
markgeller My burgeoning new philosophy is, why take a chance? They did cite a few examples of crashes where it was thought that interference was a direct contributor. The nagging question is, with so many devices and so many flights and so many ornery passengers, why aren't there more nonanecdotal incidents? I guess the answer is, forget the question, and not on my flight!

rgeller Seems like it should, zero sum game when it comes to things people buy
tonyberkman if you're eating into your own sales of another product its likely beneficial to apple given that they are moving people onto another platform; couldn't it have a synergistic, creative affect rather than a zero sum game one?
