    legbamel And just what, pray tell, is so wrong with being weird? I pride myself on being considered strange, for having interests that baffle my friends and holding beliefs that I can explain and defend rather than believing what my parents or my employer tells me. Sure, I like to be silly and have fun with people but it's always a joy to find someone with whom you can both share jokes and have real debate.

    Then again, some of the people with whom I enjoy the liveliest conversations are those who would traditionally be viewed as not-so-bright, whether because of a lack of facility with spelling or grammar or a simple lack of formal education.
